Is there any question of which school has more national exposure? That's always the risk in being a mediocre team in a big strong conference. You may "disappear" into the conference and lose your national visibility.

I'm pretty sure that the only game I saw Utah play was against BYU.

Probably in the past I might watch at least the better part of 3 games with Utah.

I never typically planned to watch Utah, but if I happened on it, I might tune in for a while.

This year I never stumbled onto Utah much. You look at that list and only one game was on the ESPN family. That's why.

Btw, I am really sick of BYU games on ESPNU and ESPNEWS because.....I DON'T HAVE THEM IN HD BECAUSE I HAVE DISH!!!

When I switched to Dish I didn't realize that those channels wouldn't be in HD. They were with DIRECTV. Supposedly Dish and Disney are working on a longtime deal. If they don't get those channels in HD I will be pissed.

One wonders how easy it would be to see BYU games if BYU were in the Big 12. Would our ability to see games actually go down? I think that is one of the conundrums that BYU faces.

But all in all, it is a no brainer. Join the future of football or get left behind. Hopefully if we were to join a big conference, recruiting would improve, we would eventually have better coaching, and we could make a tiny bit of noise.
