Despite my skepticism
Speed Racer gets pulled off, if you knew the old cartoon or if you are young. Would a guy like Seattle enjoy it? Probably not.
But only the Wachoski Brothers could have made it work, but they did.

Speed Racer bit hard at the BO.
It looked awful in the previews. Now the actual gross seems to indicate a very short shelf life. I don't anticipate ever seeing this movie. Thank goodness.
