Caught this with the wife and the movie sucked ass. Very disappointing. Not that I expected much.

That sucks. Which is all too bad considering that it has one of the best horror trailers that I have ever seen.

My wife has to turn the channel every time the trailer comes on. It totally freaks her out.

The trailer was scarier than the movie. In fact most of the scary parts from the trailer are the only scary parts in the movie. The problem was the story was predictable. There were a few awkward editing parts that made the theater go WTF? And if people making stupid decisions in the face of reason annoys you to know end, then prepare to be annoyed.

so i read the plot synopsis on wikipedia. I don't get it: a "Mormon boy" finds them at the end? why? Why Mormon?

Um they're not Mormon. They're two 12 year olds passing out Christian living tracts.
