Default Barloworld cyclist dies post surgery

I had no idea that cyclists were at increased risk for iliac artery constriction. His artery repair ruptured while at home recovering from the surgery.

Yeah, I didn't know that either.

Better to have a kink in your artery and retire than to die, probably. I wonder what the mortality is on that surgery. I can't imagine it is that high. Probably less than 1%. Bad luck.
