Soledad O'Brien is an embarrassment

I made the mistake of turning on the TV this morning. CNN. Soledad O'Brien was doing an extensive interview of Judi Kantor, who wrote "The Obamas". It was perhaps the most incompetent interview I have seen in years.

For some reason, Soledad was doing her best to make a full-throated "defense" of the First Lady, by making such explosive claims as "you haven't interviewed the FLOTUS since 2009" (paraphrased). Of course Kantor has said that. Soledad questioned how Kantor could make any interpretive comments about Michelle Obama's state of mind without an interview. Kantor: "Duh, that's what biographers do" (paraphrased).

It just shows the danger when someone stupid with a microphone actually reads A BOOK, and suddenly decides that because of this magnificent act, they actually have a worthwhile opinion.

To see a journalist attacked like this by a "journalist" (I'm stretching the imagination here by including Soledad O'Brien) was amazing.

She should be fired.
