If she got third then her talent must have involved making the male judges very happy men.

I just read this on wikipedia. I didn't mean to be homophobic.

The term alternative lifestyle is occasionally used to describe homosexuality, but this usage is generally considered to be offensive or pejorative, particularly within the gay community itself [1][2]. As evidence has mounted in recent decades to support the biological basis of homosexuality, this particular usage has fallen from favor because the word "lifestyle" conveys a matter of personal choice, while the word "alternative" suggests a less-desirable, abnormal outcome.

Her answer was brilliant. It was a demonstration.

It sounded like she was replaying the dozens of practice questions she probably studied for, and tried to turn her answer to fit a rehearsed one.

I feel a little sorry for her, but really, this is a Miss Teen USA pageant. This is the stereotype of a beauty queen we love to mock.

Leno used this clip in his monolog last night. This poor girl has become the poster child for dumb blondes overnight.

On Tuesday, Miss SC was given a second chance to answer the question of why one-fifth of Americans cannot locate the U.S. on a map. After having four days to think about it, this was her revised response on yesterday's Today show:

"I would love to re-answer that question. Well personally, my friends and I, we know exactly where the United States is on our map. I don't know anyone else who doesn't. And if the statistics are correct, I believe there should be more emphasis on geography."
