Default Now that the cold weather has officially hit

at least in Utah, how many miles did you log this year?

I started with a goal of 250 miles for March, April, and May. And 500 Miles for June, July and August for a 2250 miles for the season. September and October are usually a crap shoot for me with football, family vacation and business trips so I i didn't and wont set goals for them. Well, I fell short of that totaling 1,793.4 miles for the year or 298.9 per month. Thinking back, I don't know how I will ever get to 500 miles a month unless I start commuting by bike. Finding the time for 60-70 mile rides is difficult at my pace and choosing to climb as much as I do.

3367 miles so far. I hope to get at least a hundred more in. Mid 40's yesterday with a little bit of rain but those 44 miles still felt better then 15 minutes riding inside.

Lets get a group and set a goal of breaking 5 hours at ULCER next year.

As of today, it has been 2300 miles on the bike, 600 miles running. I'm hoping to get another 100-150 miles riding before the end of next month.

I have done a lot of junk miles to date. I need to add up the miles on the bikes, but roughly I estimate,

6000 miles on bike 1100 miles of running. And much less swimming. But I did too many junk miles and not enough quality miles, but I do have a good base.

Next year, more quality miles, more hard stuff so that I increase my speed over long distance.

I hope so. I think the wife is just excited to get rid of me for a week so she didn't care.
