Default A friend introduced me to the Guard. Thanks SoonerCoug.

I've learned a lot by reading here. I appreciate your sensibilities, thoughtfulness, curiosity, and humor. Hope I can contribute to the unique conversation that takes place here.

I've never participated in a forum (only found out what Cougarboard was after reading about it here).

Top five favorite authors: Tolstoy, Tolstoy, Tolstoy, Tolstoy, Tolstoy.

First car: must have been the Honda Accord prototype. It died in a blaze of glory flying over a railroad track bump; you know the bumps I'm talking about; truly they are God's gift to teenagers.

Welcome.

You need to hook up with Seattle Ute. He has the same love for Tolstoy that you do.

Is this the Accord you're talking about? The '76 3-door coupe?

Welcome, the more the merrier. The way you and Spaz were going back and forth there for a while I though you had been buddies somewhere for a long, long time. Amazing how you two hit it off so well so fast.

Kinda reminds me of myself and Tex and Indy.

Thanks for the welcome.

I've admired SeattleUte's comments on Tolstoy in the past; hopefully we'll be able to engage in some discussions on his books and the person as the occasion arises.

That actually wasn't the Accord; mine was an '83 which should have been put out of its misery long before I got it. It was this one:

LOL. Sadly, that seems like an awfully conservative estimate at this point.
