You know what's funny about that, tooblue? Highland is no where near the school it was when we were there. The closure of South 20 years later has made Highland and East much different schools. And really, all good East money has shifted to West so West is different too. Highland still has the above Foothill money, but it's not the even close the same academic school we experienced. There is a huge social and educational divide at Highland.

yeah my high school is 3-4 times bigger now, so it is not the same thing. I understand they will be building a 2nd high school.

if you went to high school in Utah you can't talk about other people being losers.

Of course. Highland, with all her faults is still the best school in Utah. West and Park City not included of course. Olympus sucks.

West benefited from a principal by the name of Harold Trussell who came in and made West what it is. He helped the kids believe that their brains could never be affected by outside factors and that the truth is that only they could stop themselves from being successful.

Trussell is the brother in law of David P. Gardner who was the president at the U and then President of the University of California.

I went to high school with Trussell's kids. He was awesome. He lived not too far from where SeattleUte grew up.

I figured Wasatch High School would be top 50, but boy was I wrong. My wife's High School ranked 30th in Newsweek. Troy High in Fullerton CA.
