Good move on MWC's part. With the college football landscape being so uncertain, it is a good to move first.

For example, it is possible that the MWC will be a better football conference (and basketball) than the Pac-10.

I like this a lot.

I predict BYU will stay in the MWC and will not be invited, nor join another conference.

BSU will go from the ESPN Thurs. and Fri. night darling to the media black hole that is the MWC. But they will take it.

Probably the thinking is that there is no way a BCS conference will invite Boise, so they can sit tight and see what happens.

For example, it would be much, much better to invite Kansas just for basketball. If they become available. Though I can't imagine that happening. It boggles the mind.
