Default The Man vs Wild Bear dude

What a dude. I lost my man crush on Jack Bauer after the 50th torture scene. But now I have a new crush. I want to be Bear Grylls. Nevermind I'm not an outdoorsy guy, suck at camping don't even like it, not into scouting, etc. Whatever. This dude is just amazing. Catching a fish with your hands and just eating it raw right there in the river (is that how he got the Bear nickname?). Eating raw zebra with lions looking on. Jumping into a river in freezing conditions. Killing rattlesnakes and eating them? Give me a break. This guy is too cool.

I thought this quotation was rather amusing:

Quote:
After initial fear of the strange looking suit the 545-kg (1200-lb) male Kodiak bear began tearing apart the chainmail. This clarified to Hurtubise that going with less expensive butcher's chainmail from France instead of shark chainmail was not the best decision.
Clarified indeed. I can see this guy saying, as the bear rips his chain mail apart: "note to self: next time get high quality chain mail."

Beginning with "This clarified . . ." this could be a caption for a far side comic.

You buy women, perfume, food and certain excentric oddities from France, not life essential materials.

On Oprah, he said that when he dove in the water, he actually *hit* a shark. Scared the ants out of his pants.

Please tell me your wife told you this. The thought that a manly man such as you watching Oprah is too much for me to deal with.
