Great scene. I was just watching a heads up tournament on TV and the two players each called the others hands. Pretty amazing.

Ditto on Rounders. I rented it about six months ago and loved it.

The only one that comes to mind is Cassino Royale, which I thought was much superior to the recent Bond movies I had seen and much better than I expected it to be.

Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. I had high expectations going into the movie, but was still floored with how good the movie was. It was also a much different movie than I expected. I like Charlie Kaufmann as a writer, and think this movie is his masterpiece.

Still haven't seen it. I'll admit that it's because I've a preconceived idea that it's more of the chick flick genre so I'm not capable of giving it a fair chance.

Napoleon Dynamite. My brother told me before I watched it that it was the funniest movie he'd ever seen. So, of course, I was sure it wouldn't live up the hype.

But, to me, it's one of the funniest movies I've seen.

(It's no My Cousin Vinny, though)
