I knew exactly what you meant - back in the day my closest cousin judged the quality of a band by the quantity of their eye makeup. She dressed accordingly. By the end of the summer of 1988(?) I knew all the words to every Cure song.

No, I never did dress like that. Those kind of folks came around after my playing days and somehow, I don't think it would have been accepted had I dressed like that at work. Mortuaries freak folks out enough without the bizarre attire. I just listened to the music a lot.

I kind of figured that's what you meant. I just wanted to have a bit of fun, knowing that you're a baseball fan.
