"Hey, lets write a song about Norman Bates with repetitive lyrics. At the end, we can have someone narrate about why Norman became Norman."

I am looking for stuff that isnt just ironic or terrible. Actually, of my top 5, I really love 3 of them...Kung Fu, Porcupine, and Occupants. The entire concept of the song has to be bizarre. Also, it has to stand alone in its bizarre-ness. For example, the Snoopy song is amazing, but mostly because of the video. If listened to without video, it sounds like most of the other British Invasion pop from the 60s...catchy, fun etc... With the video, that song gets launched into the stratosphere of strangeness.

Keep the ideas flowing, though. I like em.
Ride my see saw is not bizarre with the strange narrative at the start? As far as equity of quality it is equally as good as any in your top 5.

The Chinese kid who became famous during American Idol tryouts a few years ago, now has a Christmas album. I forget his name but you can hear 30-second clips on iTunes. Truly awful.

Now we are talking. William Hung doing Christmas Tunes would definitely make the bizarre list.

Sorry, too. Which one is ride my seesaw? none of them are labelled so I am not familiar. Let me go back and re-listen.

I love the spoken psychedelic intro!

Do you have any background on the tune? The title is kind of strange, so it would be cool to know what that was all about.

This is the same band that did "Your wildest dreams."

They had couple of albums where the spoken intros and endings were the norm ... great music really!
