While this version is sung in German, Falco's English version of Rock Me Amadeus would make my list. "Hey, Mozart was one of the greatest composers ever, we should do a song about him totally rocking us".

Ok, Triple D, here's my contribution to your thread. And without seeing any other posts first, I think I have the winner:

Or perhaps the classic Jocko Homo by Devo:

The first video is awful. From Hell. But without the video, it is just a bad pop song, not bizarre.

I LOVE Devo. Jocko Homo......by textbook definition...very bizarre.

Q:Are we not men?
A: We are Devo!

I just saw them in 2005 at the HOB in Anaheim. Sweet show.

Perhaps I should clarify what I mean by bizarre song.....if the video is awful, that doesnt mean the song is bizarre.

Agreed about Devo. They're awesome.

As for the first video, I appreciate the clarification. Yes, it's an awful video, but the song was a great club dance song in the 80s. Fun times.

How about these?

The Flying Lizards' Money is a great tune, and bizarre. I love the vague accent in the vocals. Is she asian? Is she creole?

I think the song experienced a resurgence when it was included on the Wedding Singer soundtrack.
