Hi. My name is Creekster and I am an I-don't-like-Rush-aholic.

It's not that I don't like them exactly, but for some reason I could never really get into their little corner of the world. Their lyrics seemed contrived and ponderous and their music was technically good but somewhat soulless and un-inspiring. Plus Lee seemed to screech as much as he did sing.

Years ago when I was a DJ for a while, I had to play 'Tom Sawyer' becasue it was in the A group playlist, but I never really liked it. I even took that album home (this was one of the few advantages of working at a radio station;free albums) and tried to get into it a little becasue so many people told me they were SURE that I would like Rush, yet it never clicked.
