Before I left BYU, they started editing the foreign films (98). Maybe they have changed the policy to just not showing those films?

or maybe I'm off-base completely.

Can you suggest a list of those that you have liked and/or would recommend? I'm always up for something out of the mainstream or ordinary. But the problem is, honestly there's so much crap out there that it's hard to sift through sometimes. I'm not interested in what I like to call postmodernism run amok. I still like a good story, especially one with human themes driving it.

btw, you probably don't want to watch it with your wife or kids.

I used to watch a lot of foreign films, but only on DVD.

Isn't Audition on par with Clock Work Orange in terms of distrubing imagery and subject matter?

French films you can start with -off the top of my head:

'Gloire de mon père' and it's sequel ...
'Château de ma mère'

Le Grand Bleu (same director who did the Fifth Element)

Naked is akin to porn, or rather shame. Satan didn't tell Adam and Eve they were nude and to hide their nudeness.

I know that according to the dictionary nude and naked are the same thing ... I however feel there is a distinction
