I think there is a song on Clapton's unplugged that features a kazoo solo and I also think that Harry Chapin's live album has a kazoo in a couple of places, including the "Yes, we have no bananas" song. I know, these may not be better, but we're tlaking about kazoos here, so give me a break.

That place, Golfland, complete with three 18's and an arcade the size of Rhode Island, is operated by our ward's HC representative. He often hosts ward activities gratis, and for this we forgive him his soporific Sacrament Meeting talks which seem like one of those multi-hour Politburo crop reports.

Seriously now -
My list would include: 70s Foghat - Slow Ride Kansas - Wayward Son Frampton - Do You Feel Like We Do (the live version) Boston - Long Time Deep Purple - Smoke On The Water Ted Nugent - Cat Scratch Fever Jethro Tull - Aqualung Black Sabbath - Paranoid REO Speedwagon - Roll With The Changes 60s Stop Stop Stop - The Hollies Cream - White Room The Kinks - All Day And All Of The Night Jefferson Airplane - Somebody To Love Them - Gloria That's off the top of my head (I believe that it was DDD who said this list could be huge) and I too didn't include The Beatles or Zeppelin because both bands have far too many songs.

Some worthy additions but, with all due respect, putting REO Speedwagon in this pantheon of greats is like putting Madelaine Albright in a beauty contest. I was just coming back to add Frampton, btw, but you beat me to it. If it's the 70s remebered, you gots to have Frampton with pink hair.

1. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Collegiana 2. Pink Floyd, Jugband Blues Also, there is a sweet kazoo part in the song "He's the Wizard" on the soundtrack to the movie, The Wiz. (Anyone who claims that he woke up today and just knew he was going to hear a reference to The Wiz is a liar). The most famous kazoo reference in classic rock: "Willy goes into a dance and doubles on kazoo." Down on the Corner......one of the best songs ever written by the pen of man. Dang, I love CCR....but I hate CC&Rs, especially when they are overly restrictive and illegally prohibit my having a dish.

Yes. Pink-haired Frampton is the best.

Of course, the window is actually your bedroom window and when you go through it, you accidentally jump to your death.

First REO and now ELO?
Say it isn't so.

ONE REO song.
And yes, ELO. I can't help it. It's just one of those things. Like how otherwise cool people root for BYU, ya know?
