Drunk driver here in Redding records a
.53 bac after striking and killing a highway construction worker. I've never heard of a bac that high. It is nearly 7 times the legal limit in CA of .08. Most of us would be dead with a bac like that.
I hope they lock the guy up forever. |

I am surprised no one has responded saying that is the typical bac for a Ute fan.

Typical bac for a Yewt fan.
Does that work for you?

I looked at a BAC calculator:
For a 180 pound male, he would have to drink about 20 12-oz beers or 12 double shots of whiskey in 1 hour to get a BAC of .53. Are there any drinkers among us? Is it possible to drink that much beer in 1 hour. Granted this guy has probably been working on his levels for several days or weeks. Speaking of which, that reminds me about the ballboy for the Florida Marlins who lost a bet by one of the pitchers to drink 1 gallon of milk in an hour without throwing it up. I've tried it my freshman year and I don't think its possible. Anyone else successfully done this one? |

Well since I'm a Ute I will answer the drinking question. I used to drink but do not anymore, have not had a drink in about a month and turned down the opportunity to drink many times.
There is no way that I could possibly drink 20 beers in an hour or drink that much hard liquor, it is simply insanity. I am a big guy and could easily get very wasted on a lot less than that. |

Let's say in a past life
I knew somebody who drank once in a while.
I cannot imagine being able to pound down that many in so short a time. It sounds like somebody with an extreme problem with alcohol, or somebody engaging in extreme manhood games, i.e., he who "wins" proves he's not a man. 20 in one hour would give one one heck of a headache, or so I'm told.

Probably not beer. . .
You'd get too full in that short of time. I've seen people do tequila shots where they've pounded close to a dozen in an hour. I don't think they were double shots, though. I also watched a game of beer pong, once, where they were doing Jaeger shots instead of beer; these guys must have put down close to a dozen shots each. They got pretty messed up.
