I wouldn't surprised if Pelosi is saying this so in time she can point out that it doesn't work and that even more restrictions need to be put in place.

She is worried about the right being energized. This is what Holder did. He energized a bunch of people, some of them who had been glibly saying "I support Obama and Obama supports RKBA." Those guys are being crucified right now.

Sent money to the NRA today, was told that so many people are signing up, that processing is delayed.

I don't understand why anyone would be worried about people being energized about the fundamental right of defending one's self. Unless, of course, one is against the right to defend one's self.
