A kid i grew up with had been an AP. at his homecoming, one of his sisters gave the opening prayer, and said "heavenly father, we thank thee for returning elder jones, home in glory and to his family." i got the church giggles. then for the rest of the homecoming, until it was his turn to talk, my friend sat on the stand stroking his chin and looking very serious.

all i could think about was the time when we were priests and he farted while i was blessing the sacrament and i had to repeat the prayer several times b/c i was trying not to laugh.

i haven't spoken to him since.
