Francis Fukuyama was one of the most enjoyable guest speakers when I was at BYU. In my mind, he has long represented the best aspects of conservative thought. Unlike the Grover Norquists of the neo-con movement, Fukuyama comes across as an honest man of principle. He has always had my respect.
