Default Signing Day

There was a lot of optimism on CB. 13-7 vs. the Pac-10, 7-1 vs. Utah. Leiataua flipped his verbal to Stanford and signed. That said, I'm still bummed about Damien, not because I thought we had a chance, but because we're failing to get the best LDS recruits. But we have OLmen coming from missions and we signed 3.

I take the commits of any that are going directly to their missions with a grain of salt. They can always change their minds in midstream, i.e. Ben Olsen or Taysom Hill.

Yeah, Nacua and Leiataua are particularly wishy-washy.

Olson & Olsen are QBs though, they always transfer whenever things get crowded.

The only other example is Tukuafu.

So Bronco is happy with a better than expected class. While the Utes are drowning their sorrows due to a worse than expected class.

Well at least we have our day in the sun. Heaven knows we can't actually beat them on the scoreboard very often.

The problem with being the worst team in a good conference is that 1) you don't win very much and 2) you don't get very much national exposure. Because the Pac-12 will prioritize the games that are more interesting to the viewing public.

It's going to be interesting to see how the Utes fortunes go. Maybe their ceiling is an Arizona State.

I still think BYU is screwed if it doesn't get into a major conference. And I'm afraid BYU would end up very much like the Utes. A mediocre nobody. Look at TCU in the Big 12.

Heck in basketball we went down a conference and can't make noise.
