So you don't have a problem with a serial killer being parole eligible in 10 years?

Reminds me of my old job, when we had a kid work with us from Iceland. His brother was in a gang and stabbed someone over 100 times. He was out of prison in under 5 years. He told us that the maximum sentence is usually 3-5 years if that. He also said that a lot of murderers are out in under a year.
