Anti-Chavez student protests going on country-wide right now. I was talking to a friend who lives there and he said that violent crime and break-ins are way up and certain foods are hard to find. For example, there is no milk and eggs and chicken are scarce. On the positive side, he fills up his minivan for less than a dollar. Sadly, there are limited places one would want to drive.

Price controls can lead to unintended effects. Like farmers deciding not to go into business at a certain loss.

Venezuela is a beautiful country, and the middle class detests Chavez, who is a manipulative son of a bitch.

Their women are quite beautiful, and unlike some European or East Coast regions, they are proud of that fact.

Chavez dying would be the best thing for Venezuela, but as Castro shows, the truly wicked live forever.
