Default Guillermo Del Toro to direct the Hobbit

Peter Jackson will be producing.

Del Toro made a wonderful film, Pan's Labyrinth, that we have already discussed.

Didnt IM say he would NOT come back to play Gandalf if Peter Jackson were not the director?

I would much rather the studios settle this beef with Jackson entirely and have him back as director.

I really enjoyed Pan's Labryinth also. Hellboy was ehh, decent but not very memorable. I think he will do a great job with the hobbit I wonder how they will break it into two movies, been awhile since I read the book.
