Sure hit a couple people in that Wyoming game. I hope he gets it together. He's very athletic.

Might this be due, at least in part, to the possibility of putting two Te'o's in the defensive line-up? This would please me very much.

It could be. Shiloah was awesome in fall camp though. He was allover the field making plays. Safety is such a hard position to learn and he picked things up quick and really was very impressive. I was able to see a lot of practices and every time I walked away thinking he was the player that stood out the most.

Fowler and Tafuna aren't getting it done, I hope to see a healthy dose of Te'o and Rich by the TCU game, along with Hooks in the linebacking core.

Fowler is the worst safety to play at BYU since Jason Walker. Might even be worse.

Dustin Staley?

Actually I think Tafuna might be worse than Fowler.

He must be forgetting the Dustin Staley and Tyson Smith years.

Yes, I overlooked Dustin Staley - he was really bad. I honestly don't remember Smith at all.

Anyway, Fowler is in that group. Tafuna has actually looked good at times this year, so I'm still going to say he's better than Fowler.

Smith had 3 interceptions in a game against Wyoming. All 3 picks he was out of position on and the ball was thrown right to him.
