Not bad, but thus far I'd say I definitely preferred the midwest that is Ohio to the midwest that is Iowa. If you know what I mean.

Ames is a nice college town but a bit smallish for me. Campus is absolutely incredible and I can see why it has received the honors and awards that it has. Golf courses are never crowded, which is a bonus.

Should be a decent year, but I suspect we'll be happy to leave in many respects, and miss mostly things that have less to do with Iowa per se and more to do with the people here.
