Default I wish one thing happened during GC....

an announcement that tithing requirements were suspended until the global economies chilled out and in it's stead service equal to 10%.

Does the church really need our tithing right now?

The talks about living frugally and ethically and within your means ring hollow during times like we are experiencing considering ZSC is pumping out billion dollar developments and strong arming municipalities, businesses and constituencies into discounted work by way ofh their 'spiritual capital.'

You don't have to pay tithing.

It's at times like these, when it's hard on the home front, that we need tithing more than ever.

I think it is your previous generations donated land, and smart business dealings that bought real estate long ago that is now the monies being used to build "billion" dollar commercial centers.

I don't think the LDS church uses tithing monies for commercial enterprises.
