401(k) numbers really only matter if you're planning on retiring soon. After the '87 crash, the market rebounded in less than 2 years. We'll be fine.

I'm disappointed that at last week's general conference, the prophets didn't advise to avoid the sin of playing the stock market and buy lottery tickets instead.
