Default CD's everybody has owned

What CDs/tapes/8tracks/records were must-haves when you were growing up?

I was a teenager in the 90's and it seemed like everybody had:
Nirvana: Nevermind
Green Day: Dookie
Metallica: Black Album

My two older brothers were quite a bit older than me, but they had distinct music tastes.

Brother 1 (Rocker):
Motley Crue: Girls, Girls, Girls and Dr. Feelgood
Def Lepard: Hysteria
RATT: Invasion of Your Privacy

Brother 2 (Preppy):
Violent Femmes: Self-titled
U2: The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby
Depeche Mode: Violator

Now that's between me and Joe, Jordan, John, Danny, and Donnie.

What concerns Flash a lot more is the NKOTB poster next to the bed. I told him not to worry though; they're just hangin' tough.

Let's see....

High school/pre-mission

Icehouse - Icehouse
Diesel - Watts in a Tank
A Flock of Seagulls - A Flock of Seagulls
U2 - Boy, War
Men Without Hats - Rhythm of Youth
Talk Talk - Talk Talk
The Tubes - The Completion Backward Principle, Outside Inside

Post-mission
U2 - The Unforgettable Fire
The Armoury Show - Waiting for the Floods
Talk Talk - It's My Life
Big Audio Dynamite - This Is Big Audio Dynamite
Depeche Mode - Black Celebration
Big Country - The Crossing

These are a few off the top of my head. I'd use up all Mike's bandwidth if I listed my entire collection.

I had Def Leppard Hysteria (on tape not CD), Nirvana Nevermind, U2 Joshua Tree & Achtung Baby (and others), Depeche Mode Violator. So I overlapped your brothers.

Don't forget GnR, Appetite for Destruction.

How could I forget that one. I purchased it a couple of different times. That really is a good album.

I nearly got one with 5% interest over a five year period, but Zion's Internet Money Market has a higher interest rate than that without me not being able to access my money.
