Default Ernie Davis Movie

This new movie about the first African American to win the Heisman, Ernie Davis (The Elmira Express), looks increcible. I went to Syracuse and am sad that they have now retired the famed #44 that Ernie Davis, Jim Brown, Floyd Litle, Rob Konrad, and many other incredible backs wore during their time at SU.

Here's hoping that SU gets a little momentum on the football field out of this movie being in theatres this year! Go Orange!

It looks like an interesting story about not only football, but in looking at football as a microcosm of society in the late '50s and early '60s. Kind of like "Remember the Titan", but based on the story of an incredible athlete.

hahaha! the SU offense has sucked since McNabb left. They were decent in 2001 with James Mungro and Dwight Freeney, but that was their last decent year.
