Santorum sucking up the vacuum of Romney's weaknesses

By now if you have been paying attention you have heard about Santorum's statement about not wanting blacks to get welfare.

He says he really said "blah people" not "black people." You be the judge. He's been on many TV shows defending himself as a non-racist, citing his work with historically black colleges.

So in summary, Santorum is making news as:
1) a religious nut
2) anti-gay
3) racist, or at least racially insensitive, and
4) talking about polygamy as a defense of his views on gay marriage

Are you f-ing me? Mitt Romney is running against a guy who is on the defensive on all these issues with Mitt takes the high ground scot-free? Wow. Did Santorum just drop from heaven for Mitt or what?
