I never watch it. I get more than enough of the "law" at work and those shows druive me wild with their inaccuracies. the L&O franchise is one of the best, but just nto for me.

I haven't watched in several years. Does Sam Waterston still losing the majority of his cases? That seemed to have been the trend on the few shows that I have watched over the years.

Today's Hollywood wants us to think they know what it's all about, be it shows about law, medicine, or whatever. Funny how it's the only one who hasn't figured out that it doesn't get it, eh?

Now Physical Therapists, there's a profession you don't see featured on too many Hollywood blockbusters. Last edited by bluegoose; 11-16-2006 at 03:24 PM. Reason: An embarassing misspelling |

The co-star in the Mummy was also a librarian, as was BatGirl. (Don't get me started, I could go on like this for days. People actually do PhD theses on the "portrayal of the librarian in modern media.") But a rivetting primetime drama? Based in the stacks? hmm... I believe FOX actually tried a similar theme with a Pamela Anderson running a bookstore (see Stacked)...amazing it lasted the twenty episodes. PT? I'll have to think on that one. Might be tough to get the required primetime sexiness factor with all the aging arthritic patients... |
