Default 71, what's your take on this guy?

"Even if Bronco has 4 consecutive losing seasons he will not get fired."

You mean you honestly don't know what 71's response is to this?

LOL, it is even obvious to you Indy the guy has his head up his butt on this one. Money, money, money. 4 losing seasons the money dries up and the fireside attendance becomes nil.

If Crowton had been in the top 25 each year, he never would have been fired.

What the homers don't realize is that with four losing seasons you will have ALL of the following:

--players quitting on the season and blaming the coaches
--coaching staff bickering with each other
--attendance drying up
--firedside attendance drying up
--Honor Code problems
--other off-the-field issues magically appear that never were noticed before

You won't have people coughing up $10,000 to get seasts on the West Side. You won't have sell outs in those $1,000 seats on the east side. You will have donors bitching like crazy.

Has anyone ever heard Bronco or the admin. indicate his job is safe without winning over time.

Return to glory doesn't mean return to the days of giving great firesides.

Losing seasons, and suddenly a guy lying to police, guys breaking down doors, a guy serially robbing in the dorms becomes evidence for a coach not in control who should be let go.

It's a game. We all pretend it's not a game. But it's a game. And there is only one input to the equation: winning.
