Default I need a tent

this one is big enough, but I'm worried because it doesn't have a rainfly that goes down to the very bottom.

That'll work.

I'm not sure how its 90mph wind rating will hold up during one of those Texas tornados though.

It would be a great Burning Man tent. This year we are buying a Costco car port, and combining it with another car port from a different family. Between the two ports we will have 400 sqft of tented space

That price minus 20% coupon. Code: GM623

Minus 3% through fatwallet.com

Is it a single pole over the top, branching into a Y toward the front and back? Its hard to tell from the pic.

I think so. Not sure.

It's about the same weight as the North Pole Tadpole that I was thinking of getting. But that would have cost me $100 more than this one.

All of the other tents that weigh significantly less would have cost me $100-$200 more.

I got my tent yesterday. Very nice. Big difference between this tent and the $30 tents I have been using in the past. The aluminum poles are especially cool.

Why does it have the name 'Big Agnes?'

I bet was it originally designed as a one-person-tent for someone's fat aunt Agnes.

Here is why.

Wonder why we called our company Big Agnes? The answer you receive depends on who you talk with and the mood we're in. Honestly, it's either a rocky peak in the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness Area outside Steamboat Springs, a laid back mountain town mama or dependable backcountry gear. We think it represents a little bit of each and everything in between.
