Rule #1. Never trash talk a living apostle or prophet like this.

Rule #2. If an apostle or prophet dies, you can trash talk him all you want.

Rule #3. Implicitly treat living apostles and prophets as infallible.

Rule #4. When an apostle or prophet dies, emphasize their fallibility and give specific examples.

*sigh*

What a mess.

Exactly. I've spent most of my life in dominantly-Mormon cities, and I've never heard anything like the stuff Sooner posts about every day.

Boring, indeed.

Who's the black private dick
That's a sex machine to all the chicks?
(Shaf!)
You're damn right

Who is the man
That would risk his neck for his brother man?
(Shaf!)
Can ya dig it?

Who's the cat that won't cop out
When there's danger all about
(Shaf!)
Right on

You see this cat Shaf is a bad mother--
(Shut your mouth)
But I'm talkin' about Shaf
(Then we can dig it)

He's a complicated man
But no one understands him but his woman
(Aaron Shaf)

I doubt you guys are as comfortable trashing living prophets are you are dead ones. True, this forum doesn't follow the unspoken rules in Mormonism as much, but you aren't completely free from its influence.

The biggest problem with Mormon Doctrine is the name of the book. It gives it WAY too much credibility.
