Well I keep hoping we'll improve. There's no reason for our brand of soccer to be as bad as it is.

It was a fun game to watch. Altidore is going to be a good player, he just needs to get some more experience. Ya the 3rd goal we got robbed, there was no offsides, but I think we were lucky enough to get 2 goals after the way they played.
I just hope the US comes to Utah again for another World cup qualifer this year. I was out of town for the first one. |

I think we will. There was a lot of young talent out there (first time we've ever had 2 teenagers on the field on the Nat. team) and most of them are playing in Europe now. I long for the day when a US team controls the flow of the game. When they can hold the ball and not rely on the 5 or 6 breakaways afforded per game to win the game.

Dempsy was |--| that far offside, but he was offside.
I agree with our midfield passing. It was atrocious. We couldn't posses the ball if our life was depending on it. Moore was getting worked over in the back. If it wasn't for Timmy Howard, the game could/should have been 4-2. He made some amazing saves. Danovan shouldn't be on the wings, he needs to touch the ball more and create. He was hardly there at all yesterday. We are still undefeated at "home" vs. Mexico, so there's a plus.
