Please contact me to let me know if we can count on your support. Absolute confidentiality is guaranteed. You, like many others, can work quietly behind the scenes. Listen for our code words "faith" and/or "repentance." Our supporters will be slipping these code words in talks, conversations, articles, interviews, etc. as a way to covertly notify other supporters that they are on board with us. We encourage you to do the same.
Can anyone say "secret combinations"? Maybe it's not to murder or get gain (although you could argue this is to get gain vis a vis an increase of political influence in the church), but it's a very dicey proposition at best.

Organizing an effective political coup in the upper hierarchies of the church? This dude is messed up. This is where simple individual disagreements with the church end and open revolt against the church begins.

I believe the term you're looking for is Border Lander.

Why are they preying on this pitiful fellow and giving someone like Waters a free pass? Because he's vulnerable?

That's exactly what I said in my letter to Waters' stake president.

I think you are all underestimating the power this guy has. last week at church, I heard almost every speaker and teacher use these "code words". His organization seems to be huge. Even my Bishop seems to be involved, possibly at the highest levels, as he used BOTH the words 'faith" and "repentance".

It's a devious plot to provide kooks with legitimacy while letting the real threats waft in the Internet winds. Is there no end to the ruthlessness of This Church?

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Latest CA Field Poll indicates Prop 8 is losing by a 55% - 38% margin (http://www.field.com/fieldpollonline...rs/Rls2287.pdf). What will the Church's PR response be to a loss of this magnitude?

I can't believe the Church invested its goodwill in such a loser. Losing good political capital for no gain. Why?
