I also want to know what happened to the little girl that he met when Ben first got to the island. I think it's interesting that they didn't show her again. Maybe the island can create images from your mind. Which would then make sense how Locke's father turned up, why Kate saw the horse in the middle of the jungle, Ben saw his mother, Echo saw his brother, etc... Then I guess Jacob could be Ben's imaginary friend incarnate...no idea, just throwing out random thoughts, I don't know what's going on. Last edited by Black Diamond Bay; 05-11-2007 at 12:31 AM. |

Does anyone else think they are hitting us over the head with biblical references for a reason? I'm wondering if this is supposed to be a Jacob's ladder type scenario. Maybe Jacob resides where the dead move between earth and heaven. This could be why people often see their dead on the island.

This is my new theory...he has ben out as a pawn so that the survivors focus all their attention on finding, capturing, and possibly killing ben...all the while, he's pulling the strings.

No but Jacob's Ladder is the endowment ceremony.
To be honest I don't even know who Jacob is. I stopped watching lost about three episodes before the season finale of season 2.
