Default How to get a good deal on bike stuff

Here's how I buy cycling gear cheap:

I am a Team Performance member at htt://performancebike.com , meaning that I get a 10% rebate credit for every purchase, and free upgrade to 2 day shipping. I pay 20$ per year.

So whenever I decide to purchase at performance, first I go to http://fatwallet.com and log in with my fatwallet account. I then go to the stores link and click on the performance 3% rebate http://www.fatwallet.com/store.php?store=877 . This takes me to the perforance website, where I then log in with my "Team Performance" membership number. Then I make my order, and before I complete it, I find a 20% off web coupon on the internet ( at fatwallet in the hot deals forum or http://bikeforums.net ).

So let's review. 3% cash rebate. 10% credit rebate. 20% off. Free 2nd-day shipping upgrade. And if I'm lucky there is a free shipping coupon.

This can usually only be done on orders greater than 75$, which is not hard to get up to in cycling.
