Default Mormonism and Freemasonry

From the Freemason's perspective. I found this to be a very interesting read.

Default So we can be Masons?

I always thought and was taught as a kid that we couldn't and shouldn't be masons.

Any truth?

no truth.

just mormon myth. its not uncommon for members to think that we are not allowed to be masons.

Default ....

when i was watching the joseph program the other day it talked about emma starting the relief society....i wondered how much of the program was true compared to what the guy says in that discourse....

relief society a female version of masonry....

compass and square on top of the nauvoo temple....

kirtland temple set up like a masonic lodge....

all seeing eye, clasped hands on slc temple....

solemn covenants, promises, made in secrecy.....

the parallels are too many to dismiss.
