I'm not really surprised by it. I think it was the Vuelta that he lead for a day or two and he was very good as a junior. It's nice to see Leipheimer ride so well and with this Discovery team I think he has a real shot at a podium finish in Paris. Also this race has a come back for Vande Velde who had disappeared for the last three or four years. It reminds me a lot of what Julich did last year.
