New Michelin Reds coming out on Wednesday!
This is an exciting week for fellow epicureans out there.
This week, the new Michelin Reds are being released, bringing the total to 4 US cities designated as Michelin Cities. NY and SF were first. Now, LA and Vegas. While I am not a huge fan of the spirit of the Vegas food scene, Vegas does offer up good choices. "But, DDD, you can already buy Zagats for both of those cities...and more..." I am well aware that Tim and Nina have placed their stamps of approval and disdain all over the respective food landscapes of the aforementioned cities. However, being designated a Michelin city usually results in more food-related expos, visiting Chefs, and, thus, more interesting food. While Zagat is my overall favorite for US dining (Relais Chateau being likely the Gold standard for Euro cuisine....along with Michelin), the Michelin guides are appealing because they only consider the food. Zagat will ding you if readers complain about lines, snooty service, or drab decor. Michelin just cares about the food and cooking. I am going to be in Vegas tomorrow all day on business and am excited to try out a Michelin recommendation.

Is your family in that pic? I was promoting the pic of the dog with the baseball cap.

Everyone but one person in that pic is your family?
Or everyone but one person in your family is in the pic? Do you know how I can get in contact with the dog in the baseball cap?

Yes. All but one of my wives got in. But I wouldn't advise contact with the dog. He hates lawyers.
