Default Unga staying and Bronco magnanimous

I smiled when I noted how altruistic Bronco's sentiments are,

Quote:
"I fully support Harvey in his decision to continue with school and finish out his eligibility," BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall said. "Harvey is a phenomenal football player and a fine person. I feel fortunate as a coach to continue working with him for another season."

This is a smart move. I guess my personal evaluation was the same as what he was told by scouts and agents. Not good enough.

His freshman year he was strong, tough and EXPLOSIVE in the hole. Not break it all the way explosive, but quick in the hole.

In the past two years, he has looked very slow. He needs to do whatever it takes to get back into the same form he had as a freshman. The BYU trainers must be telling him to get fat and slow like the linemen.

Plus, Unga has to know that with a new QB, he has the chance to really be the featured part of the offense.

So it's the right move.
