Default Monsters vs. Aliens

Saw this with my son on.....[shivering with excitement].....Imax 3D.

I'd never seen a film in Imax before, it only cost $1 per ticket more, so what the heck I thought. I'm not sure what was Imax-y about it, I couldn't tell a difference. The screen seemed to be the same size.

The 3D part was kind of ho-hum. I had previously seen Beowulf in 3D and thought that was a more effective use of 3D, but maybe that was because of Angelina Jolie. Who knows.

So what they don't tell you is that the glasses you are going to be putting on your spawn are built for MLB players on HGH. I had to hold the glasses on my son for most of the movie. It's a miracle he wore them at all.

Oh yeah, about the movie, don't bother. Save your money and watch a Sat. morning cartoon with your kid. Let me be the sacrificial lamb who dished out $18 for 2 matinee tickets. No need for you to bother.
