It's not a bad analogy either. Their approval ratings have had an uncanny correlation thus far (except that Obama has generally outperformed Reagan to date). Reagan's low was 35%.

I'm pretty sure Obama won't win 49 states, but Republicans sure are doing their best to put up a candidate even worse than Mondale.

Yesterday Romney criticized Obama for leaving on vacation.

Quote:
Mitt Romney on Tuesday called on President Obama to cancel his upcoming vacation and return to Washington to work with Congress on the nation's job crisis.
A few things to note:

--Congress is currently on a five week vacation. So "return to Washington [and] work with" who, exactly?
--Mitt Romney hasn't had a job in three years. Since his 2008 failed campaign, he's been on vacation.
--Obama has spent 61 days on vacation since taking office. After 31 months, Reagan had taken 112 days, and GWB had 180 days.
--Mitt also seems unaware that Presidents on vacation are really not on vacation. He will still spend a fair amount of time on the phone and dealing with state leaders. If Mitt truly is unaware of this, then maybe he was an even bigger slacker as governor than previously thought.

What's disturbing though is how truly stupid Mitt's sheep really are, who soak up and believe such elementary propaganda.

This afternoon, Obama conferenced with top European leaders and called for al-Assad to step down. How is that possible? He's on vacation!

I guess ute4ever thinks Romney's reading CG.

Wait... THAT's unfair, but you attacking Obama for taking LESS time than that isn't unfair?

I suppose you can't complain too much when you poll just 14 points worse than God.

How you arrive from point A to point B could be a case study at times. Nobody said Obama would win 49 states. My previous statement obviously meant that he will develop Alzheimer's at 83, break his hip in Bel Air at 89 and die of pneumonia at 93.

Idiot.
