I don't really care that much about his pro career. I'm really glad he's back, and his coming back is bad news for the rest of the conference.

I am not quite sure of Rose's problem with the process. I don't think anyone looks at a guy that pulls his name from the draft as failing. Its a way to get your name out there...not sure about what Rose is thinking.

This is, obviously, very good for the Y. Cummard was the best player on the team last year and he will be so again this coming year. He is going to have a very nice year.

He may be talking about the pre-draft camp, which Cummard was not invited to, or maybe some of the feedback that Lee got, or maybe something else. Rose seemed pretty positive about it going in, so it would be a bit of a switch for him to suddenly be completely down on it.

It's a lot harder to make the NBA as a 6-7 swingman than as a big man. That's at least half the players in every draft and in the NBA. Big men are rare, therefore Plaisted has more opportunity to show if he can make it or not and teams are more willing to take the risk on him.
