Do you actually have a copy of that 1988 football game? If so, you may be the only BYU fan on the planet that has a copy of a BYU loss, let alone a loss to Utah.

And if you do, can I get a copy?

I have copies of several BYU losses; just not that one.

I respect that. It's realize that only wanting to have copies of wins isn't limited to BYU fans, but to actually have copies of losses tells me that you're a fan of college athletics whose favorite team is BYU.

My neighbor is a good person, but he could be the posterchild for zoobs. He'll record a game on tv - even if he's not attending the game - and rewatch it after a win, but if the Y loses, he'll erase it and complain about the officiating. According to him, BYU has never lost a game.

My list of disturbing movies that I hated and will never see again....

Natural Born Killers..never have I felt more yucky evil crap than watching any movie than I have this one.

The Exorcist.....self explanatory

Seven......again,,,same thing. Demented and beyond satanically disgusting.

I saw this when I was 15. My friends and I got into the theater because one friend's older brother worked there and he let us in.

It scared the hell out of me.

I went home - my family was gone to visit Grandparents for the weekend (I stayed home because of baseball practice) - turned on all the lights in the house and didn't sleep for two days.

Satanic movies are ones I avoid.

I saw the Exorcist and the Omen, as well as Rosemary's Baby, but I vow never to see another again.

The adversary's power is real, but it can be mostly avoided if you don't let him in.

This is one area I won't tread.

Never seen Blue Velvet. Heard of it, but have no clue what it's about.

I can't imagine anything being creepier than the original, Dutch version of "The Vanishing," for various reasons. The American version completely lacked the creepy brilliance of the original. In fact, the ending was altered; the Dutch version has the most scary ending imaginable (no gore in the whole film, by the way).

American movies always cut down the creepy factor. The recent movie "In the Cut" is a pale rendition of the novel, written by a woman (Suzanna Moore), that is one of the creepiest novels I've ever read. The ending is unbelievable; you can't believe it really is what it is, at first. It's so awful you wonder if you're misreading it. But the author's style is very clear and precise. Of course the movie ends happily, completely different.

These try too hard to shock. The one I wrote about, "the Vanishing," is understated, and effortless, and completely horrifying.
