Little Miss Sunshine
So I begrudginly watched this tonight....and I've not been more pleasantly surprised by a movie in ages.
I laughed as hard as I have in a long time. The ending was pure gold....I could barely breathe I was laughing so hard. One of those movies that when you're done your smiling cause you can't help it. Wow....I usually can't stand most Independent garbage films,,,but this one is a jewel.

Alan Arkin was hilarious in this movie. He's one of my favorite comedic actors. He was hilarious in his small part in So I Married an Axe Murderer, and I still think The Inlaws is the funniest movie ever made. Little Miss Sunshine ranks right up there as one of his best performances ever.

It is a terrific flick. All of the actors do a well done. Steve Carrell is subtle and very good...and the little girl rocks as well. Depressing, fun and uplifting. I liked it quite a bit.

I didn't like it that much. I was expecting something great, and it didn't resonate with me very much.
Although I did like the dirty old man part played by Arkin. |

It was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It was nice to see Steve Carrell play a different kind of role -- he pulled it off well. The little girl was adorable and her strip tease at the end was classic.

I don't understand how you guys get to see so many movies!?
I can't remember the last time we saw a movie that didn't involve animated rodents. |

Have yet to see Little Miss Sunshine as like Barbara, most films I've seen the last several years have been CGI with animals and cars and things like that.

A zany family adventure involving vehicle troubles, personality conflicts, and beauty pageants. Now that's some fresh material.
I laughed a few times, but the movie was largely unmemorable. |
